Course Content

During this course, you will learn how to manage a range of emergency first aid situations, including:

• Roles and responsibilities of a First Aider

• Assessing an emergency situation

• Managing an unresponsive casualty

• Resuscitation (CPR)

• Choking

• Bleeding control

• Shock

• Burns

• Epilepsy

• Minor injuries

• Basic hygiene in first aid

• Human anatomy relevant to first aid

Certification

Upon successful completion and assessment, learners will receive a Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work, valid for three years.
